FY26 - Ripples of Hope

We are incredibly honored to feature keynote speaker, Blayne Arthur, sworn in as Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture in January 2019 – the state’s first female to hold the position. On April 19, 1995, the world witnessed a devastating tragedy when a bomb exploded at the Alfred P. Murrah Building. Among the many lives lost that day was Secretary Arthur’s mother.

In the years since, Secretary Arthur has honored her mother’s memory by sharing a message of hope and healing. Through her journey, she offers insight into how she navigated life after experiencing such a traumatic childhood event.

We are also honored to announce the Calm Waters’ Mainsail Award winner at Ripples of Hope. The Mainsail Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated heart for our mission, compassion for our community and dedication to Calm Waters. We are honored to announce that Judy Mee will receive this year’s Mainsail Award. Judith has been an integral part of Calm Waters since joining the organization in 1994. Early in her work, she identified a gap in our grief services, support for families and children experiencing divorce. Through her vision and dedication, she helped incorporate grief due to divorce into our core programming, an impact that has touched many lives across central Oklahoma.
